The diagnosis of headache does not have to be a complicated matter. For your doctor to diagnose the headache and prescribe appropriate treatment, it is important to convey the symptoms in an orderly and logical format. You can follow this format to organize their thoughts and share them with your doctor:

What is your pain? Medical professionals often describe the pain as “sharp, piercing” or “sad and painful.” burning pain may also occur in some cases. When a migraine occurs, there are a number of options at the time of treatment. In general, most migraine sufferers try a nonprescription medicine-first, but often end up needing some sort of migraine treatment and prescription. Most of the treatments available to treat headache not only failed migraine headaches, but other types. However, there are a number of specific treatments and prescription migraine. As with all treatments for migraine, be sure to discuss the issues and concerns you may have with your health care provider.
anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)

Many NSAIDs are available without a prescription, but some may be prescribed by your doctor. NSAIDs are divided into two categories: COX-1 and COX-2. Each block of activities of the chemicals involved in inflammation and have side effect profiles. Examples of COX-1 include diclofenac (Voltaren), meloxicam (Mobic), and nabumetone (Relafen). An example of an inhibitor of COX-2 inhibitor celecoxib (Celebrex). Common side effects of NSAIDs include gastrointestinal problems such as nausea, vomiting and stomach pain. NSAIDs can also cause stomach ulcers and gastrointestinal bleeding.
